Nintendo's GameCube and Wii are one of the best video game consoles that became extremely popular due to their abilities to run high definitive games seamlessly. Both consoles where able to 'compete' with the likes of Microsoft's Xbox 360 and the Sony Playstation 2 / 3. Having known how step forward and interactive the GameCube and Wii games are, you'd certainly want to get one of these consoles. Sadly, the GameCube and Wii console has been discontinued, and the Wii U and Nintendo switch emerged as its successor.

Hence if you've got your device ready, below are the best GameCube and Wii Emulators to emulate GameCube and Wii games on Android and PCs.

1. Dolphin

dolphin

You'd know that the GameCube's code name is dubbed dolphin huh? and luckily, we've gotten the perfect dolphin emulator that is capable of emulating GameCube and Wii games on premium smartphones. Dolphin is a very popular emulator for Gamecube, Wii and Triforce, and it runs well on modern gaming Android phones and PCs. There are a lot of GameCube and Wii games compatible with Dolphin emulator, and it's available on Android and PCs but you won't find any dolphin ROMs in this emulator.

2. GCEmu

gcemu

Y'all know how hard it is to emulate games huh? But GCEmu shows that it can be done and can be done at a reasonable speed. The GCEmu is an (incomplete) emulator for the Nintendo GameCube and it uses tricks such as recompilation techniques to achieve a seamless gameplay. Unlike Dolphin, GCEmu is only available on Windows and as usual, there's no GCEmu ROMs included in it. So you will have to browse the web for some of the best GameCube ROMs for GCEmu. One thing about this emulator is that it seems to have been abandoned by the developer, as there's no update coming forward. But it can still run some few GameCube games at a decent speed.

3. WhineCube

whinecube

WhineCube is yet another decent emulator for Nintendo GameCube, and it lets you play your favourite GameCube games without hassles. The emulator is capable of loading and executing file formats such as DOL, ELF and GCM. Similar to GCEmu, WhineCube is only available on Windows and their are a few but decent games it can run flawlessly. To be more elaborate, WhineCube does not run any commercial games, but some of the few homebrew games such as Tetris worlds, Pacman, and BAM are playable with decent graphics. You can browse for some of the best WhineCube ROMs on the web.

4. SuperGCube

supergcube

If you are familiar with the then popular GCube emulator for Windows, then there is a high chance that you might have heard about SuperGCube. SuperGCube is basically a GameCube emulator that's based on the discontinued Gcube emulator. But this time, it's more efficient and the emulation has been optimized to its core to achieve great speed. The developer behind the supergcube emulator had said that theres an interpreter mode implemented on it and a recompiler is on the way. But we haven't seen any update yet. Either way, the superGcube emulator can emulate GameCube games once you find the right ISO files. It's available in English and can be downloaded on Windows 32-bit.

5. Dolwin

dolwin

The last but not the least! Dolwin is an open source GameCube emulator that allows you to play most of your favourite GameCube games on Windows PC. Even though the dolwin emulator is still under development, there's an assurance that you can still be able to boot & run some of the commercial gamecube games. To give you a clue, there's a demo present in the dolwin emulator zip file, simply extract it and play the game to test the emulator. Remember that dolwin is not supported with most of the commercial games out there, so you've to choose wisely. Dolwin emulator is available on Windows PC.

Final Words

The aforementioned emulators are capable of emulating most of the GameCube and Wii games on Android and PC, having tested the dolphin emulator, we found it quite superb and the developers behind it are relentless in releasing new updates that fixes most of the bugs. One thing to note here is that you shouldn't expect 100% flawless gameplay, but if you are using device such as Galaxy S8, Oneplus 5 and Nvidia Shield, then expect a near flawless gameplay. Overall, enjoy GameCube and Wii games on your Android phone.

10 Best 360 Degree Camera Apps For Android and iOS

The concept of taking awesome panorama is much more better than capturing multiple flat photos. 360 degree photo comes quite in handy especially when you want to capture an unbroken view of an entire surrounding. Hence all you need to do is to position your camera app vertically, and you'll be guided on which side to move. Obviously, there are a lot of camera apps that allows you to snap cool pictures with just your Android and iOS device, but not all of them is capable of shooting stunning panoramas. But having vetted the Google Play Store and iTunes, we discovered a bunch of camera apps that allows you to take 360 degree photos on Android and iOS. We went ahead to handpick and settle for the best, so if you are a panorama fan, below are the best 360 degree camera app for Android and iOS device.

1. Google Street View

If you've spent the last few days searching for the Google Camera in Play Store, i do suggest you stop now because you can't find it. One of the best features present in Google camera is the photo sphere, this allows you to take 360 degree photos in high resolution but the Google camera is now exclusive only to Google's own Android phones. However, Google's Street Views can do the 'job' well as it proves to be the best "replacement" for Google camera app since it also brings the photo sphere feature.

Google Street View can be used to explore the world landmarks, and in so doing you'll discover natural wonders and locations such as museums, restaurant etc. But your Street View experience wouldn't be complete if you fail to create or add stunning photo spheres. To capture 360° photos with Google Street View, simply open the app & tap the camera button located at the lower right corner. Now you can either link to an external 360° camera via WiFi, or imported already taken 360° photograph. Either way, tap on camera then move your device slowly and steadily from left to right to capture the area. Once done, the photo will be stitched and you can publish it on Google Street View to share your photo spheres with the world.

Available on Android and iOS

2. Panorama 360

Panorama 360 offers quite a handy feature, it's one of the best VR camera app that lets you take awesome panoramas and you can even watch 360 videos with it. Opening the app, you will be greeted with a classic user interface. Simply click on the camera icon at the center, then hold your phone upright in portrait mode. From here, tap the camera button again and move your phone slowly and steadily from left to right. Once you are done capturing the surrounding, the frames will automatically be stitched into a single panorama.

That's it, you have just created a seamless panorama within seconds. Panorama 360 brings an "HD" option which once enabled, lets you capture 360 degree photos in high resolution and you can even import or view stunning panoramas captured around your location. The best part is that the app brings photosphere integration, and this lets you upload photos directly to the "Teliportme" section. Note that all these photos are saved automatically in your SD card and can be shared across social media platforms.

Available on Android and iOS

3. Cardboard

Google's cardboard camera typically makes taking 360 degree snapshot a breeze. Aside from the fact that you can use it to launch your favourite VR experience, it can also be used to watch 360 videos and view stunning photo spheres. Google cardboard app brings a dedicated camera that can be used to take 360° photograph. To do this, pick a spot that inspires you, open the app, then hold your phone in portrait mode. From here, tap the record button and spin/rotate your phone around in a circle. As usual, the cardboard app will direct and give you clues if you are moving faster. So make sure to be slow and steady. Once you're done, you can view your photo spheres with the cardboard app.

Available on Android and iOS

Bonus Tips

The above 360 degree camera apps are the ones we have tested so far, and their output has proven to be the best. But if you'd like to explore more for a decent camera app that can take 360 degree photographs, then be rest assured that we have got a lot of them. Below are "other" cool 360 degree camera apps for Android.
  • Street Panorama View
  • Photo 360° by Sfera
  • 360Cam
  • Panorama 360 Panorama Camera
  • Photaf Panorama
  • Roundme
  • Bimostitch Panorama Stitcher
Not to mention but a few, the above apps can also take 360 degree photos on Android. The "Street Panorama View" app can serve as an alternative to Google Street View, since it also lets you travel the world while sitting at your home. For the "Bimostitch Panorama Stitcher", you can use it to stitch high quality photos into awesome panoramas.

The Mate 10 features a 3.5mm headphone jack, but this is absent in Mate 10 Pro and Porshe. Although the latter supports IPS water and dust resistant while the mate 10 doesn't. Let's quickly checkout the Mate 10 Pro features, release date and price.

Design

Coming to the Mate 10 Pro, the device offers a fullview 6-inch screen with an 18:9 display ratio and the bezels has been trimmed to attain an immersive view thanks to the HDR 10 technology. At the back, Huawei Mate 10 Pro is covered with an ergonomic curved glass with dual lens cameras and an IP67  water and dust resistant. The robust and strong glass casing spotted on Huawei Mate 10 (both front and back) portarys a device with elegant design.

Features

Huawei Mate 10 Pro is plastered on Kirin 970 AI processor with a dedicated NPU (Neural- Network Processing Unit). This is the first of its kind, and we are meant to believe that this new technology makes the Mate 10 Pro experience more faster, seamless and efficient. The flagship also packs the cutting-edge of 10 nm tech with 8-core CPU and 12-core GPU coupled with 6GB RAM, 64GB mass storage and can be expanded with up to 256GB MicroSD card. Coming to user interface, Huawei Mate 10 Pro offers an all new EMUI 8.0 that's intuitive and its gaming performance is top-notch. Similar to Galaxy S8, Huawei Mate 10 Pro brings support for split screen, allowing you to run two apps side by side on the phone’s screen. Aside from this, Huawei Mate 10 Pro features a "navigation dock" that lets you place your home button and dock where you want it to be on the home screen. Huawei Mate 10 Pro will reportedly costs €799 (about £710) when it hits the market in mid November. For the premium Porshe of Huawei Mate 10, the price tag will go for a whopping €1,395 (which is about £1,240) and it will hit the smartphone market next month. The three flagship seems fine to me, except that it doesn't include the acclaimed rounded display corners spotted on iPhone X and Galaxy S8. Overall Huawei Mate 10 is quite a premium device that boosts of speed and it's worth buying.

How To Get Rounded Screen Corners on Any iPhone

LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 where the first smartphones to spot a subtle rounded corners on its display, and this new design makes both device look more refined. Other smartphone manufacturers have decided to follow suit with this new trend. As you can see, the rounded corners are visibly present on the display of every high-end Android phone developed in 2017 including the new LG V30 and Google Pixel 2. We'd hope for this tradition to be safely maintained in the upcoming smartphones.

Following the release of Apple's iPhone X, 8 and 8 Plus, one would think that the three device will spot a rounded display corners. But the scenerio was contrary to what we had thought, as the new rounded corners was visible only on iPhone X. The rounded corners found on the brand new iPhone X (ten) display made it look quite exceptional, but while it's only exclusive to the iPhone X, there's also a way to get the feature on older iPhones and we're going to achieve this with just a simple tweak.

Install RoundScreenCorners

To begin with, you'll need to make sure that your iPhone is jailbroken and that you have installed the latest Cydia app. From here, simply locate and open Cydia, then search for "RoundScreenCorners" without quotes. (Note that it's a single word, so don't give any space). Once you have found the tweak, download and install it directly on your iOS device. Alternatively, you can navigate to the big boss cydia repository website and download the RoundedScreenCorners tweak.

RoundedScreenCorners

Enable RoundScreenCorners

Next up, respring your iPhone and head to Settings >> RoundedScreenCorners. From here, simply enable the tweak and adjust the Radius Option to your liking. One cool stuff you'd notice about this tweak is that it does not require a respring, so once you enable it, go ahead and adjust the Radius by using the slider. Changes will take effect immediately.

One thing to add, when you apply this tweak on your black iPhone, it'd look awesome but if you are using a white iPhone, then you'll see the LCD. The will makes it to look really annoying and unpleasant. Apart from this, the "RoundedScreenCorners" tweak works perfectly well and you can try it on your iOS device to get a subtle and refined rounded screen corners.

Download Google Pixel 2 Launcher APK on Your Android Phone

The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL is due to arrive soon and while we are still waiting heartily for the acclaimed device, there is a need to get most of its apps on our current Android phone. Google's yearly tradition of tweaking the Pixel's UI makes the device to look quite exceptional, and if you have been spending the past few days on YouTube (just like me) watching the Pixel 2 in action, then you'd agree with me that the newest Pixel launcher spotted on the Pixel 2 XL brings a ton of attractive features. Previously, we wrote an article on how you can make Nova Launcher to mimic the Pixel 2 Launcher, we also went further to offer you all of its widgets and wallpaper. Hopefully today, I'm pleased to announce that the latest Pixel 2 launcher APK is available for download.

So if you think following the Nova launcher recipe is cumbersome, you can try to install the Pixel 2 launcher APK since it brings all of the Pixel 2 exclusive features. One of the changes you will notice on the new Pixel 2 launcher is the search bar which has been moved down to the bottom to replace the dock we where once used to on the Pixels. The colored G logo present in the search bar widget has also been tweaked a little bit to showcase transparency but their actions has not been changed so far.

At the top, we have the new "at a glance" widget that provides informations such as the weather condition, calender info and clock. The app drawer looks quite neat too and beautifully arranged. The latest Pixel 2 launcher we're going to present also spots a Google Now integration that's accessible from the side of the display. So if you'd love to get the pixel launcher on your Android phone, then here we go.

Download Pixel 2 Launcher

To begin with, download the latest Pixel 2 Launcher apk on your Android phone and install it ASAP. If you're faced with any error such as "App not installed", you can install the modified version of the Pixel 2 launcher on your device. Alternatively, you can choose to download the zip file of the latest Pixel 2 launcher and flash it via custom recovery. Overall, enjoy the new Pixel 2 Launcher on your Amdroid Phone.

How to Get LG V30's Floating Bar on Your Android Phone

LG V30 is a strong device that offers lots of plethora features. The camera is one of the best feature that's capable of unleashing the cinematographer in you, the device goes as far as bringing the Google assistant built-in and a face recognition that unlocks your device's screen with just a scan of your face. LG's flagship device has always been the V-series, and the company have maintained a common tradition of enabling secondary display on its mobile (LG V10 and V20 boosts of this feature).

Upon the production of the V30, LG had to ditch the "second screen" for a floating bar which creates a shortcut for your favorite apps and call notification and it's accessible from the V30 display . This feature was necessary in other to attain a classic look for the device. If you've gotten a chance to look at LG V30's customizable and virtual floating bar, then i guess you love what you saw and hence wish to try this feature on your Android phone. Don't worry, we have got you covered..

Install Floating Bar

The app that brings LG V30's floating bar feature on Android is dubbed Shortcut bar. It gives you quick access to your favorite apps, tools, website and even contacts. So head to the Google Play Store and download floating bar apk.

Add App Shortcuts

The next step is to open the app, you will be greeted with a simple interface. From here, simply tap on the icons to choose an app as a shortcut. You can rearrange them too. Repeat this steps for other options (tools, contacts and websites). Once you are done with the setup, click on "Show apps on floating bar" then toggle the floating bar icon at the top right corner of the screen.

Enjoy LG V30's Floating Bar

Now you'll see the floating bar at the side of your device's display, simply tap on it to see the lists of app shortcuts you created. One thing that amazes me about this app is that it's accessible even at the lock screen and when you're using another app.

The floating bar is moveable, but you can only drag it when it collapse. There are four categories within the app, with an option to enable/disable each categories separately. By default, only the "app" category is unlocked. So you'd have to support the developer to unlock other categories and enjoy more features.
